She's picked another thing here that fits her perfectly and makes her look a million feet tall. The shoulder pads are pleasantly insane -- there's a total Joan Collins vibe to them, but in a way that doesn't make me worried that J.Crew is going to start sewing them into all their shirts, so I can sit back and enjoy it. I love the gold piping, and this is one of those rare dresses that she can pull off at her age and yet a Charlize Theron or a Jane Fonda could be just as good in it. I mean, MAYBE it's a touch too mature for Shailene, but I actually think it's giving her a welcome and EVER so slightly more adult vibe without overshooting the target.
