Is this basically an excuse to talk about the fact that they've made a TV series of *Outlander?* MAYBE. But the truth is that these three look pretty great:

Her shoes are a snooze-y choice in this particular case, but that dress is sincerely lovely on her and the men look dashing and well-suited if EXTREMELY match-y, rather like Dude Bookends -- on the left is the dude playing Jamie, if you've read the books, and the right is the dude playing your protagonist's spouse (whose character I barely recall, but I also read those books like ten years ago and I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday \[I'm totally lying: it was a turkey wrap with avocado and chipotle mustard\]). I would have forced everyone to wear a kilt -- I do remember the books being KILT-Y -- but if we've learned anything over the years, it's that no one listens to me.
