Everything about this is amazing. Apparently, George got to stay up fifteen minutes past his bedtime to meet the Obamas -- and this rocking horse was a gift from them to him when he was born, which is really a lovely touch. His little robe looks sort of like the one I am wearing right now -- it's a fluffy hotel robe -- but a billion times cuter, because a wee person in his wee jammies is basically the best thing in the world.

Obama is SO good with kids; I feel like he and George were best friends after about ten minutes. Here, George seems to be thinking, "WHO ARE THESE NICE PEOPLE AND WHY HAVE I BEEN ALLOWED TO STAY UP LATE TO MEET THEM AND HOW CAN I CHARM THEM INTO DOING EVERYTHING I WANT? I HOPE THEY LIKE ROBES. I WONDER IF THEY WILL READ ME A STORY. I WONDER IF THEY WILL READ ME TWELVE OR FIFTEEN STORIES."

I love everything about this. It's always fun to watch people have an event where they clearly enjoy hanging out with each other and are not just doing it out of obligation. Also, Kate's LK Bennett dress is gorgeous, while Michelle is like, "see? You can totally wear something in one color story with a chic, simple coat, and ADD GREAT SHOES."

Harry: Slowly falling out of love with Kate and into love with Michelle. He clearly likes sporty, smart women who are married to men who are more powerful than he is. Also, Michelle's make-up looks great, and I enjoy that the President is holding her umbrella for this touching moment. Somewhere, Sasha and Malia are REALLY JEALOUS they're missing all of this.

Also, this is our first look inside Wills and Kate's KP apartment and I feel like this is very educational and fascinating to me. Books! A bar set up on the table! Flowers! Flowered pillows! I love it, actually, but this is my taste. It's NOT minimal, and it has many patterns, and it looks like a really, really comfortable and expensive British hotel, and there are a lot of places you can take a nap. So many pillows! So many gallery walls! Additionally, this visual will be useful for my fanfic-- er, never mind.
