Remember that insane story that alleged Zhang Ziyi here was a (very *very* high-class) prostitute for the Communist party? She sued for defamation; the journalist in question declined to name sources (not the least because someone speaking out about prostitutes hired by Communist bigwigs in China is going to have big trouble with said bigwigs if unmasked), there was much legal wrangling? Well, [everyone just settled.](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/crouching-tiger-actress-settles-defamation-665653?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) So no wonder she looks so very happy:

The dress doesn't hurt.
