We HAVE seen this dress before. It's the Jonathan Saunders she wore on their Far East Tour. (I like it.) We have also seen his suit before BECAUSE WE HAVE EYES. (I tease because I love. Who can truly complain about a blue suit? Not I.)
And now let's take a trip through The Many Faces of Wills and Kate. This is a face that I, a watcher of many sports, call "I have my doubts that we're going to be able to pull this one off."
This is the "Oh, God. I can't take this." I have made this face A LOT. Usually I am fetal on my living room floor, though. I guess you're really not allowed to go fetal in the Royal Box.
And this is your classic "WHOOOOOOOO SUCK IT WE RULE!!!!" which I have ALSO done. I suppose one really isn't allowed to scream "SUCK IT" in the Royal Box, either, which is a shame. Heavy IS the head that wears the crown.
And this, of course, is the "OH HELL YES!," which is the kissing cousin to the "SUCK IT!"
This is the "oh. Um. Never mind. Things just took a turn." They were cheering for Federer, but after the match -- as I saw on ESPN, because ESPN took us backstage this year, which was totally fun -- she and William were chatting up Djokovic and seemed very pleased for him. How could you not be? Both Djokovic and Federer are such classy good sports. (There was conversation about how competitive their home tennis matches are, although Kate said she's not as on top of her game since she had George. INVITE HIM OVER FOR A RALLY, KATE.)
I know you guys always like to see them being Schmoopy-Adjacent, so obviously I wasn't going to neglect to bring you PHYSICAL CONTACT BETWEEN PEOPLE.
So nice, I included the same sentiment twice. In the end, I just couldn't decide between "Gentle Guiding Hand in Small of the Back," or "Gentle Guiding Hand on Upper Arm." WHY NOT HAVE BOTH?
