[Per *W*](https://www.wmagazine.com/fashion/gucci-fall-2024-runway-photos?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), the show notes for this -- Sabato De Sarno's second Gucci collection -- are more word salad:

> *“My fashion lies in capturing the extraordinary where the ordinary is expected,” De Sarno said in the show notes. The collection, according to Gucci, was all about “embodying a meticulous journey of small subversive acts that come together to portray his vision of the Gucci wardrobe, one where fashion converses with reality.”*

Sure, pal. The show has some of the sparkle of the Alessandro Michele days, but seems to be struggling to find its new personality, and I'm not sure I see a whole lot of it in here. Knit hotpants sure aren't it. Maybe they didn't need to go *full* control-alt-delete on this thing?
