What's interesting about this is the contrast between the breeches, and the graceful drape of the bodice and gentle, suggestive squeeze of the HA HA HA just kidding YOU LOOK A FOOL, CHILD.

FOOL FOOL SO MUCH FOOL.
This is hilarious to me. (Not least because her facial expression reads like she just realized what she hath wrought.) I like to imagine her in her hotel room sorting through the math here: How much boob overflow is the RIGHT amount of boob overflow for maximum silly but minima pain?

The thing is, though: Come Fug Madness time, I am always really wary of ascribing feelings to people about their clothes -- like, I don't believe in "intentional fug" vs "she just thinks she looks good" vs "she knows she's artsy-bananas" because we DON'T know any of those things; we can't read a celebrity's mind. Those are rationalizations we create in our own brains to try and process what we're seeing, but we can't ever know how SWINTON or Solange or Sienna Mliler feel about their outfits. And unless she says so explicitly, we can't conclude that Kim loves this or hates this, or knows what she's doing or genuinely thinks she looks balls-out amazing.
Having said all that, it will be pretty difficult to convince me that she looked in the mirror on this day and did anything other than laugh about how hard we would all smash our heads against the keyboards.

I've decided she saw pictures of the female background players in "Hamilton" and was like, "Hey Kanye I want to look like that except also a bit like those rad bitches by the docks in that Anne Hathaway movie where she shaved her head, but also Princess Leia, and Marie Antoinette. But Kardashianed." And he was like, "I know just who to call."

Full marks to Kanye for looking very dapper here. Kim looks like she's attending a soft-core porn version of an opera.

But, real talk: These two are at a friend's wedding. Can you IMAGINE if ONE person showed up at your wedding dressed this way, much less TWO? What was the dress code? "Foolin Rouge"?
