This seems as good a place to start as any. Rihanna: Her own best asset, her own worst enemy.

Do we think Maura Tierney bought a couple of these in different colors from, say, Land's End?

Oh shit. Three is a trend, isn't it.

Sometimes you think the sheer trend cannot horrify you any further, and then... it does. It always does.

And then it pokes you in the eye for good measure.

I have decided Diane Kruger has a rare condition in which she is blind from the nose down. Like, she simply cannot detect anything down there.

I love Peggy Carter, and I will 'ship her and Souza until the end of days, but Hayley Attwell and Tag make one hell of a hot couple. I just wish that was a cocktail-length dress, and one that fit.

She has been branching out like mad, and I'm tickled by it, but obviously that means her missteps are proportionally bigger.

ACK STOP DOING STUFF TO STUFF is the elegant thought my brain keeps screaming.

Four hundredth verse, same as the first.

This is ELABORATELY bananas. I find it, in technical terms, heinous.

She picked a really interesting time to have her best-ever hair.

And she picked an interesting time to have her worst hair.

I was going to say, well, hey, at least Christina is trying, but... IS SHE?

Oy with the pants already.

Please attempt to put yourself inside the designer's head. What logic was used to decide on a cutout here and a thick elastic band there?

This outfit is terrible, but also, she looks as awkwardly assembled as a mannequin. I am not totally sure the choker isn't covering the spot where her head is attached to her neck.

This is really not good, and yet after the last couple outfits, there's at least a point of view here that I can appreciate.

I feel like we might have just seen this shirt's cousin on Tinashe. It didn't work there either.

The jacket needs to be liberated. Badly.

This is a jumbled, confused mess. It doesn't understand itself; how can we?

She can model through almost anything.... ALMOST.

Each of them should be claiming that this is the other one.

The peekaboo shoulder and the pair of ruffled legs make for a mess of design choices indeed.

That which we thought might be a gown IS PANTS. It's a patchy jumpsuit that's either transparent or covered in fringe, depending on where you glance.

I suspect this was an eyeful of buttock right here.

I know this is a strange thing to say about someone with a body that's so clearly so great, but... she is so much hotter than this outfit. Even with component parts that are good, like the jacket, and the bag.

It's a jumpsuit with exterior leg slits. However glorious her head is -- AND IT IS; just look at her -- that outfit is not working.

Alicia Keys was doing this back when we started this site, or shortly thereafter, and it didn't work then and it has not aged well.

"I know," Bella thought. "I'll go buy some Mini Babybel AND educate the world's shoppers on the contours of my pelvis. Two good deeds in one."

You're Beyonce. Can you not AFFORD enough feathers?
I have to be honest, and it will not shock you: I really, really dislike this. I HATE that it looks like she's got a web of masking tape on her abdomen. I hate that when you zero in, you can see her gigantic shoulder pads under there. You can see the warts and all with the construction of the dress, and it makes her crotch look bad. IT MAKES HER CROTCH LOOK BAD. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A REAL CONCERN AND YET HERE WE ARE.

That she wore a dress from a bridal collection makes me laugh. I just think it's possible she is accidentally wearing one of the veils.

... her feet look good?

Someday she will realize what most of us do at that same age: This NEVER looks as good as you think.

Oops, she did it again.

The skirt-pants are a whole new bastard hybrid of whaaaat.

All that wasted fabric must feel so bitter about its useless life.

If the pants are the brown paper bag, does that make her torso the bottle of booze? This IS Come As An Alcohol Stereotype Day, right?

I know this has its charms, but it's also insane.

Not as insane as this, though.

This is a denim cuff I need never see repeated.

Yeah, the outfit is questionable, but the shoes... those should only be seen on the feet of someone shuffling out to get the daily paper.

It's true that her youthful whimsy carries the day a lot, but I can't forgive the bodice. She looks like an exotic dancer at a colorforms-themed bar.

And she looks like someone who is trying to strike envy in the heart of Rihanna.
