There is so much about this photo that is amazing. First, of course, is the fact that Trudeau's little boy appears to be gazing at Prince Harry with unmitigated awe. (For all we know, he's looking at a bi-plane doing lopps beind them, but it's cute regardless.) Second, obviously, is the fact that there is essentially a GOLDEN HALO OF LIGHT around Trudeau. I keep imagining all the texts that went around after this event: Harry to Michelle Obama, Michelle to Justin, Harry to Meghan, and then Meghan's attempts to not ask "oh my god, is he hot in person?!" which culminated in her just wandering into their kitchen and eating a bunch of weird British chips.

JUSTIN: I am amazingly good at finding the light in these photos. Or does the light...find me? You be the judge. WILLIAM: I AM ALSO HERE. HELLO. ME. I'M STILL IMPORTANT. HARRY: I hope Meghan doesn't eat the last of those crisps. Wow, I'm hungry.

This seems like the right time to turn to Informative Caption: "Members of the Canadian Armed Forces stand by commemorative boots as replica biplanes perform a flypast near the Canadian National Vimy Memorial during a Vimy centenary commemorative service on April 9, 2017 in Vimy, France. This is the Canadian National Vimy Memorial, and it's quite stunning, isn't it? Especially on such a beautiful day. (The website about said monument is ALSO extremely fascinating, all about the history of the structure. It also goes into the iconography of its design details.)

I mostly downloaded this Group Photo so that you could see what Sophie is wearing -- her most Kate-ish shoes, for what it's worth. Little Xavier James Trudeau looks very charming, and Sharon Johnston (who is married to the Governor General of Canada, on the other side of Charles) is wearing a VERY saucy dress, which I liked quite a bit.
