# Where Are We On Colorful Tights Right Now?

I know where I am on see-through shirts, and hanging lace bits -- that being, standing in the corner of a large room doing The Scream, but silently. So bless Lizzy Caplan for getting creative here and giving us something else to talk about: the tights. For ME, purple tights are something I would be self-conscious about trying, because my life is not interesting enough and neither is my wardrobe. (I have NOT figured out how to shop again, and now we're at the point where the wardrobe refresh I need is too expansive and thus expensive, and also I can't find anything. I was wandering around the mall the other day, and did actually say aloud in the middle of Bloomingdale's, "Oh my GOD, everything is hideous.") But Lizzy is making me think maybe it's possible. I don't even really LIKE tights with open-toe shoes! And yet here we are. She's serving purple zest with an outfit that would, without it, probably be the butt of yet another tired "She stole the decor at a funeral home" joke.
