I do wish it looked better-made, though. Lupita and Gwynnie spoiled us on spotlessly tailored ones. I also don't like the addition of the sheer bit along the neck; it's an eyesore. A choker would've been hotter. But: She still looks classy. ## Connie Nielsen ![connie nielsen White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/connie-nielsen-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471157604.jpg) I have to say, I enjoy this. it looks SO COMFORTABLE and a bit queenly. Neither of these first two are perfect, but both of them bring the drama. ## Gina Rodriguez ![gina rodriguez White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/gina-rodriguez-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471131912.jpg) This might be a size too small, but otherwise she looks smashing. ## Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane ![rebecca gayheart eric dane White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/rebecca-gayheart-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471143356.jpg) I love the color here, but it looks like she folded her train back over and stapled it to her hip. And as much as -- like Keri Russell -- I miss the signature curls (from 90210 and her Noxema Girl days), her hair is super cute that length. ## Idina Menzel ![idina menzel White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/idina-menzel-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471142724.jpg) In the thumbnail on Getty, I legitimately didn't recognize her. That hair color just... isn't right on her. The dress is fine but forgettable. ## Michelle Monaghan ![michelle monaghan White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/michelle-monaghan-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471131024.jpg) This is another one that I think is too tight on her by a hair, so it almost looks like it's constricting her. Which reminds me of the Shel Silverstein poem about being eaten by a boa constrictor, which... a *Where The Sidewalk Ends* wormhole is not where I ever expected Michelle Monaghan to take me. ## Connie Britton ![connie britton White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/connie-britton-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471137396.jpg) I think what's distracting me here is that seeing the inside of the fold on the bodice keeps making me think she has a pen tucked in there. Which WOULD be apt for a correspondents' dinner, in case she wanted to... you know, correspond about anything like they did in Olde Tymes. ## Jane Seymour ![jane seymour White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/jane-seymour-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471122118.jpg) Something about THIS bodice twist reminds me of the shape of an AIDS ribbon. Which is neither here nor there; it's just all I can see now when I look at it. ## Ivanka Trump ![ivanka trump White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/ivanka-trump-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471137776.jpg) I am finally over being tired of fishtails, because we don't get as many of them now, so I can enjoy the workmanship on the bottom while complaining about how the bodice does nothing for anyone. ## Anne V ![anne v White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/anne-v-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471141566.jpg) Did we know about this pregnancy? Anyway, congrats, and that is pretty. ## Maria Menounos ![maria menounos](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/maria-menounos-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471130850.jpg) WHYYYYY the lack of lipstick. ## Brit Marling in Roksanda ![brit marling White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/brit-marling-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471136066.jpg) I feel two ways at once about this. The waist ruffle looks SO LIMP and yet the bright blue underside totally works for me, so basically, I really do have all the feelings. ## Kelly Rutherford ![kelly rutherford White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/kelly-rutherford-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471142616.jpg) This is light pink, right? That's how I processed it, anyway. And it's... what you wear to a formal Easter service after gorging yourself on a crate of Creme Eggs. ## Irina Shayk ![Irina Shayk White House Correspondents' Dinner 2015](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2015/04/irina-shayk-white-house-correspondents-dinner-2015-471142680.jpg) I decided this had a blush hue to it also. I am basically almost never a fan of slinky satin, but this is so much better than what we're used to -- and what pushed her at least one round deeper into Fug Madness than I'd anticipated -- that we should call this a high note, right? [White House Correspondents' Dinner Fugs and Fabs: Reds, Oranges, and PinksI nearly wrote up the first two outfits here as A Motherf'ing Cape-Off, but then I realized Connie Nielsen's qualifies more as a caftan.
