Jessica Simpson in Carolina Herrera

First of all, in ALL her pictures, J Simp is doing this thing with her upper arm that I KNOW she is doing to avoid making it look flabby -- holding it out at awkward angles. We've ALL read the article that tells you to hold your arm OUT in photos, Jessica. But you end up looking weird and uncomfortable unless you do it subtly, and also it starts to look like your boob is going to pop out. ANYWAY. This dress is actually extremely pretty and quite good on her: it's very feminine and flattering, without being the OMGSOTIGHT she has a tendency to go for.

Katharine McPhee in Paule Ka

I am traditionally unmoved by this length, but I actually love this on her. The color is lovely, the detailing is great, and her shoes are amazing (thank god, since they're a focal point). Well done.

Olivia Munn in J Mendel

As Fug National Aoife Marie put it on Twitter, this looks like it's a "Project Runway unconventional challenge with feminine hygiene products." And once she said this, I could not deny that there is a TON of moisture being wicked away by this dress.

Constance Zimmer

I appreciate how crisp this is. Like a wearable Orangesicle.

Freida Pinto in Thakoon and Anne V

"Hey, we both have rando cut-outs in our dress! Let's pose together!" FWIW, I think Anne looks much better than Freida, who should have mugged someone in the bathroom for her lipstick if she had to.

I am about to be (mostly) nice to Jessica Simpson. AND Katharine McPhee. I know. Prepare yourself. [Photos: Getty]
