It's a shame it rained for this event, in terms of the photo opp, but the umbrellas DO make it feel extremely British. Everyone here looks nice, obviously. I know they had no commute, but I don't think anyone expected them to just roll out of bed and wander over in their track pants.

The boys really have this Casual Blazer, Casual Trousers, White Shirt, Suede Shoes uniform down. At last, it's like whoever is dressing them for events that don't require a suit but still require Niceness has figured out the code.

I love this photo. It's so Mary Poppins-adjacent. I also, I must confess, LOVE this Prada dress. (Although you can't really see them here, I'd wear a more colorful shoe, but whatever. These were probably a suitable sacrifice to the weather.)

Gorgeous. From what I've read, it's only going to be planted in whites like this through September, but I hope the garden will always be planted in her memory. It seems like a very meaningful gesture.

As you saw in the videos on the homepage of this post, the boys then went and took an impromptu look at all the tributes people have been leaving for Diana at the palace gates. It must be extremely touching for them, to see this continued outpouring of love toward a person they too loved so much.
