Don't worry, we'll get to the kids. But I wanted to show you this Lego ship! Informative Caption tells me that this is First Mayor of Hamburg, Olaf Scholz and Peter Tamm, the director of the Internationales Maritimes Museum Hamburg. Everyone is celebrating the "joint UK-German Year of Science," is apparently about OCEANS this year. I am sure Princess Charlotte would have liked to have been included in the Year of Science Festivities!

Speaking of, before they all flew back home, the kids DID get to admire some helicopters at the airfield, including the one that Wills flies. I mean, not LITERALLY the one he flies but the same model. They look adorable and were an extra handful and I suspect Wills and Kate cannot wait to go home, open the doors to the garden, and tell them to go outside and run around and not come back in until they're ready to go to bed.

Princess Charlotte, in fact, took a wee tumble -- I read reports that it was mid-tantrum, but the pics made it look like she just fell down, in the way that small children tend to occasionally lose control of their feet. George seems simultaneously TOTALLY DISINTERESTED and also like he might want to join in her feelings.
