## Wills and Kate (in McQueen) Head Off

Informative Caption tells me that Wills and Kate "watch Shakin' Stevens perform live and meet staff and transport workers before departing on Royal train," and Shakin' Stevens must be something that did NOT make the jump across the pond to the US, but they sound fun. Additionally, this is a going to be a Coat-Heavy Trip; both of these are good overcoats. (All of Kate's pieces are a rewear, including her accessories. ) I might like William's coat more than Kate's McQueen?

They also met "staff and transport workers before departing," which is lovely. Everyone working on public transportation now deserves an extra thank you. Here, it looks like Wills is explaining how the departures and arrivals board is working. WILLIAM, SHE KNOWS. SHE USED TO BE A NORMAL.

THE PRESSURE of getting to write the Daily Message on the Euston Station Whiteboard! (And, [as many people pointed out on the KP Instagram, the TERROR of having to do so as a lefty](https://www.instagram.com/p/CIfZ-polM%5Fl/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) (You can see their message there on Insta. It's very sincere and not, like, a naughty limerick or something.)

## Wills and Kate Arrive in Scotland

The formal Informative Caption here explains that these two "will visit communities, outstanding individuals and key workers to thank them for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic." I love William's scarf, and that's a Catherine Walker re-wear on Kate.

Britain's Prince William, Duke of Cambridge (2nd R) and Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (R) disembark the Royal train as they arrive at Edinburgh Waverley station for a visit to the Scottish Ambulance Service in Newbridge, Edinburgh in Scotland on December 7, 2020, on their first full day of engagements on their tour of the UK. - During their trip, their Royal Highnesses hope to pay tribute to individuals, organisations and initiatives across the country that have gone above and beyond to support their local communities this year. I don't know if I've ever seen a woman playing the bagpipes, but that's awesome.

## Berwick-Upon-Tweed

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Andy Commins/WPA Pool/Shutterstock (11287285p) Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge meet staff and pupils from Holy Trinity Church of England First School in Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Their Royal Highnesses visit recognised the work of teachers over the past year, including their efforts to keep schools open for vulnerable children and the children of key workers. During the visit, The Duke and Duchess met some of the school's teachers to hear how they adapted their operations to provide online learning and support to their students during the lockdown, and the measures that were subsequently put in place to allow pupils to safely return to school. Their Royal Highness will also join one of the school's classes as they take part in a special Reindeer lesson. Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge visit Holy Trinity Church of England First School, Berwick-Upon-Tweed, UK - 07 Dec 2020

Here, they've arrived to "meet staff and pupils from Holy Trinity Church of England First School in Berwick-Upon-Tweed," and celebrate "the work of teachers over the past year, including their efforts to keep schools open for vulnerable children and the children of key workers. During the visit, The Duke and Duchess met some of the school's teachers to hear how they adapted their operations to provide online learning and support to their students during the lockdown, and the measures that were subsequently put in place to allow pupils to safely return to school." It looks cold in the UK right now. I also am sure that people who live in Berwick-Upon-Tweed are tired of Americans saying this to them, but Berwick-Upon-Tweed is a really great name for a place.

## REINDEER

Apparently, today this school had "a special reindeer lesson," which is festive and thrilling! George is going to be very irked that no one thought to bring him home a reindeer for Christmas. (Although, in fairness, it's really the busy season for reindeer right now!)

## Wills and Kate Visit Batley Community Centre

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/12/shutterstock_editorial_11293165b-1607363975.jpg)

Mandatory Credit: Photo by Danny Lawson/WPA Pool/Shutterstock (11293165b) The Duke and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge arriving at Batley Community Centre, West Yorkshire to meet volunteers who have supported elderly members of the community throughout the coronavirus outbreak, on the second day of a three-day tour across the country. Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cambridge visit Batley Community Centre, West Yorkshire, UK - 07 Dec 2020 During the tour William and Kate will visit communities, outstanding individuals and key workers to thank them for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now they're "meeting volunteers who have supported elderly members of the community throughout the coronavirus outbreak," and I was thinking about all the wardrobe changes here and it occurred to me -- it's probably good public health to put on fresh clothes between visits to different groups. Especially when you're visiting people who work in an elder care center, you don't want to accidentally bring the germs from the school children. This coat on Kate is a rewear, and just an FYI, [it's currently on sale at Hobbes](https://www.hobbs.com/product/bianca-wool-blend-military-coat/0220-3887-3893L00-BLACK.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#cgid=clothing-coats-and-jackets&is=false&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&pid=0220-3887-3893L00-BLACK&pos=12). I love this one.
