It looks like it was rainy in Blackpool today! I feel like I primarily know about Blackpool from reading books set in Ye Olden Times where British schoolchildren would get to go for the day of fun games and escape from rationing/the orphanage/their cruel ballet mistress, etc. Apparently, they are trying to bring back tourism; while they were there, Wills and Kate also learned about some of their mental health services, visited a library, and learned about their efforts to improve housing. As KP's Twitter put it, they were there to "to visit innovative projects focused on investment and regeneration — and to learn how the resort is leading the way in tackling some of the social and mental health problems faced by people in Britain today." It is raining in Los Angeles today too, and Kate looks very cozy and glam in this. (She's worn that Sportsmax coat MANY a time.)

They both look very reasonable, and I have sympathy for those people in the world -- of which I am one -- who realize they've planned to wear suede shoes in the rain. (Kate's allegedly an old Ralph Lauren pair, which I rather covet. It's probs for the best that I cannot buy them now, because I do not need suede knee boots!)

In which Wills is like, "mmmm, I APPRECIATE this look."

And I appreciate this tiny perfect little bag. (She's ALSO had it for a long time, and ergo I cannot buy this either. I guess her rewears are good for my budget. What is not good for my budget is seeing how many other tiny perfect little bags Manu Atelier has.)

Royal Twitter Fashion Sources believe this dress to be this Michael Kors one and I didn't notice the sleeves were sheer until I looked at that product page. They don't look THAT sheer in this pic? KATE. SHEER SLEEVES. WHAT'S NEXT?

"Oooh, a fancy stick! Thank you so much."

Over to Harry, who is in many way himself a fancy stick (I don't know what that means). He and Wills are all in on the Warm Flannel-ish blazers today. Meghan looks like she's wearing her Off-Duty Meghan Wear, which as you all I know, I always like. This too is totally reasonable and cute! I am a person who appeciates navy and black together. (I don't have credits for any of it beyond her jeans, which are her trusty rag & bone maternity jeans. The blazer sort of reminds me of my own Smythe one -- which Kate also has, actually, because that is why I bought it -- but time will tell.) (EDIT: It's this Ralph Lauren blazer, so consider the Smythe your cheaper duplicate? Although RL is cashmere so there you go.)

YAY CLAPPIES FOR YOUR SPEECH! Informative Caption tells me that WE Day UK is "a global initiative to encourage young people to take part in positive social change." That seems like a good cause!

I just thought this one was sweet.

Aw.
