I'm always banging on in the comments about when the garments wrinkle so badly, which gets tiresome, I know. Obviously, clothes get wrinkled; people can't always wear flowy stuff that hides them better. But walking down the royal box steps is certainly a time when people get a clear look at whatever the Range Rover did to your outfit. The good news is, 95 percent of the photos from this event are her seated, and this looked great that way. The bummer is, after sitting down for the length of the match, it probably looked even crinklier on the way out. Back to good news: I haven't seen any pics of that, and her hair looks SUPER. So lush.

"It's all very exciting, but gosh, I miss Roger."

with Theresa May

However, I would take Kate's wrinkles over whatever Theresa May is wearing, which looks like a wrap dress that's been created by... boob sleeves, or something. It's bizarre. She needs to Brexit that thing.

Wills

"Oh yes, I do know how people look hotter."

Although I am not TOTALLY sure how flattering I think those are on Kate. They're not aggressively terrible or anything, but they're not making me want to run out and buy them. Somethign about them in this photo looks like they're bent downward slightly on each side? I don't know. At least they're not tiny, but I do wish she could lean into whimsical sunglasses.

Theresa hates this idea.

I don't know if this quite counts as royal gazing, because Williams looks like he's preoccupied with whether there's anything in his teeth from breakfast.

We DID get some Worried Sportsfaces here, though. The match went Djokovic's way pretty quickly, and I think Kevin Anderson had an injury issue where he got his chest wrapped up, or something? Maybe they were worried about him. I'm sure it's VERY hard not to betray a rooting interest. They might be allowed to; I just feel like unless it's a UK player in there, they probably at least try to look impartial even when we all know their hearts are crying out for Roger Federer/Serena/whoever.

"Oh dear. We really should've come on Friday."

A note: The bow she's wearing is dark purple and green, which are the Wimbledon colors. She's worn it before to the men's final (someone said they spotted it on her yesterday too). As Patron I think it's her nod to the tradition that some observe, per OK, of wearing those colors in neckties and the like.

"If this goes to four sets, don't tell Charlotte. She did all that math to calculate that the odds of it happening were almost zero."

"All right I'll say one thing. I don't even know where that hallway IS in Windsor Castle. And Gran said he smelled of loo cleaner and old cheese, and that he asked to try on a crown."

"It's time to get a real detective over there solving this Russia thing. I'm turning on my Princess Anne bat signal."
