I love this hat. It looks ever-so-slightly like a table decoration at a baby shower. It's a girl!

"Wait, wait, I know this....no. Sorry. It turns out I actually *cannot* do long division in my head. Please don't tell Harry."

My feeling about this dress is that it is a bit dated but ultimately...fine? There is nothing Kate loves more than a pastel McQueen coatdress and I find it sort of boring but also how many times can I note that I find it sort of boring before being bored by it is ALSO boring? It's VERY appropriate. (Obviously, I long for a patterned shoe. I am FILLED WITH LONGING for one. But I also long for Joshua Jackson to come over and help me get things down off of high shelves and that's not happening either.)

It also fits her *beautifully* \-- I do think it's more striking when she's standing still than in motion, because you can admire the pleats.

"Did they not get my memo that we're all to wear sassy sunglasses to these things going forward? PLEASE READ MY MEMOS, CHILDREN."
