(Which means that people from this part of Pakistan must think, "huh, this reminds me of parts of Pakistan" when they visit.) Informative Caption, however, tells us that Wills and Kate "flew near the Afghan border to visit a remote Hindu Kush glacier on October 16, after a morning spent trying on feathered traditional caps and luxurious shawls in Pakistan's mountainous north." She's in a barren but extremely beautiful landscape. The Kalash are indigenous people from this part of Pakistan, and [I just spent a great deal of time reading about their culture on Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalash%5Fpeople?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).
