I need to have all the iconography of this rickshaw explained to me! Did ANYONE talk to the rickshaw driver for their stories?! Do I have to assign all the human-interest pieces here?! Also: Wills and Kate look great here. Green, of course, is the color of Pakistan's flag. Kate is wearing her old friend Jenny Packham, and Wills is in a traditional sherwani designed by Naushemian, which is a Pakistani designer (or store? Or both -- it's hard to tell and their website is down at the moment). The Duke and Duchess will visit a government-run school in central Islamabad, which educates students between the ages of 4 and 18\. Their Royal Highnesses will meet with pupils from kindergarten to sixth form, and hear more about how the students are benefiting from the ‘Teach for Pakistan’ programme, a fast-track teacher training programme modelled on the UK’s successful ‘Teach First’ scheme, which is focused on improving the quality of teaching in schools which serve families from disadvantaged backgrounds.
