This dress is fine! I think this was a cocktail reception, which is -- as we all know -- generally a real Waterloo for Kate. And she is Napoleon in that metaphor, which I realize was somewhat unclear in this setting. But this si kind of groovy? It definitely feels more fashion-forward than she often is, which is a nice change.
