It's VEE NECK SWEATER DAY for the Cambridges. I do love that RL cricket sweater on Kate. I love anything that I could be wearing in a Miss Marple adaptation on PBS that may or may not include my having murdered someone. (Whoever he was, he deserved it.)

This coat/dress/coatdress (I think it's just a coat-coat) is Carolina Herrera, and Kate's worn it before (because historically some people get angry with me when I point this out, this seems like a good time for me to note that my saying this is a rewear is not a criticism! Just being factual!). I do love a red coat. And she could be wearing ANYTHING underneath! Looks like black tights, a black turtleneck, and then I assume black pleather hotpants. (And yes, those are the cute LK Bennett boots she debuted earlier in the year. They're still on sale!)

It appears I decided to show you this coat from BOTH sides. It is...the same all around.

"I don't know! I just figured you'd like these polka dots!" WE DO, MADAME. You look adorable. (I have no idea who that is or what she's doing, because Informative Caption was VERY uninformative this morning, to my dismay.)

Here, Informative Caption tells me that "this engagement will see Their Royal Highnesses learn more about the [Irish Football Association]'s community Football projects, and how sport can play a role in bringing communities together." Also, it will see Kate putting her hair into a ponytail and preparing to really kick some ass on the pitch.

Their Royal Highnesses learnt more about the IFA's community Football projects, and how sport can play a role in bringing communities together. They met groups and representatives from the Female Football Leaders, the Goals Programme, Education Programme, Stay Onside, PSNI, DoJ and Probation Service and members of Powerchair.

"Okay, ladies, let me take the lead in taking William down. I know where all his weaknesses are. But if any of you get a clear shot at him, his left knee is REAL dodgy." (In reality, apparently Wills told them that Kate "goes for the ankles," and the idea of Kate being a really cuthroat player makes me laugh.)

GET A ROOM, YOU GUYS.

Wills and Kate Visit Northern Ireland

But this might have been my favorite moment from this day. I feel like Kate is telling these young men to watch and learn from a master. Show 'em how it's done, Kate.

Wills and Kate Visit Northern Ireland

"I could shoot an apple right off that kid's head."

Wills and Kate Visit Northern Ireland

"Remember when I accidentally shot that kid in the ear earlier today? I hope this doesn't turn into a thing." Jokes aside, these two are always at their best at these extremely outdoorsy things. I would ugly cry if my job required me to put a tent together on camera.

Wills and Kate Visit Northern Ireland

I wonder if Kate had any inkling that she was going to grow up and do so much public rowing.

Wills is truly glowing with the thrill of victory here. Enjoy it while it lasts, buddy!
