This photo makes me laugh. Kate looks like she's thinking, "I regret this." William looks like he's trying not to bust out laughing. Victoria is like, "no one even notices that I am wearing one giant sleeve!" (I actually think Victoria looks very cool in her one sleeve.)

Everyone here looks sincerely delighted, though, other than Prince Daniel, whose face is still stuck on Aggressively Pleasant. But the truth is that I mostly picked this snap so we could all admire Victoria's earrings. (Kate is also wearing a lot of jewelry but who can tell.)

Yet another photo in which Kate appears to be thinking, "I am not totally sure why I did this to myself. But here we are. Congratulations, Kate. YOU PLAYED YOURSELF." I saw some argument on Twitter that this is...a salute to the way Swedes dress? I am not sure if I think that translates (or is true). I TOLD YOU to wear the gold lamè, Kate!
