This is a very cute, extremely reasonable look on Kate. Like, she could easily be trotting off to her job at the auction house in this. (In my mind, if she didn't marry Wills, Kate eventually ended up working at a very posh auction house in London, selling all sorts of lovely things to smart people.)

This wee tiny perfect thing is (obviously) by Mulberry. It's called the Mini Seaton and it also comes in oxblood and WHY HAVEN'T I WON THE LOTTERY?! I would be like Oprah; a tiny bag for you! And a tiny bag for you! And a tiny bag for you!

"You're right! We DO love chairs!" (I believe it was at this event that they talked about Ikea, and that's not some kind of snarky joke -- they literally talked about Ikea, and obviously, you would at a celebration of Swedish design. Fun fact: I am currently sitting on an Ikea desk chair. It's pink.)

Earlier in the day, these two -- who have A LOT on their docket for this trip -- really bundled up and popped out to play hockey with tiny children.

To her delight, of course. This is a very cute look. The coat is Burberry, and somehow What Kate Wore has even IDed the sweater that Kate's wearing underneath. IT IS CUTE.

FWIW, Wills's hat is very charming.

And this is like my own personal STOCKING CAP GOALS. (In actuality, I generally look like a potato stuck in a sock.) It is a BLESSING that I live in Los Angeles and have no plans to go anywhere very cold in the next few months, because I would totally buy this hat. Even though it's $275.

This happened earlier in the day -- I accidentally wrote this in reverse chronological order, but we're all going to have to live with it. The theme of this particular walkabout (to the Nobel museum) appears to be BEHOLD OUR OVERCOATS!

I assume Kate and Victoria had a vigorous text exchange about what fur neck pieces they each planned to wear upon this day. (Kate's at least are faux; I suspect Victoria's are, as well.)

I love this photo. It's SO conspiratorial. Victoria's entire face seems to say, "hmm, well, you KNOW what I heard about HER, don't you?"

Here, I assume the conversation is along the lines of Daniel and Kate chatting about how BONKERS INSANE it is to go from being a normal person to having to deal with all these royal people and all their rules and regs, and Wills and Vic are talking about how weird it is to grow up knowing that your lot in life has been wholly decided by the people to whom you were born.

And here is the entire crew with King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, where they had lunch. Daniel is actually really working that double-breasted jacket; I feel like Victoria is thinking, "I went like 15% too fancy for this. THANKS, MOM."
