I would be lying if I said I liked this outfit -- the idea is fine, but the jacket is mediocre and the sunglasses are just unintentionally funny. But whatever. Have all the silly fashion fun in the world, ladies. Lord knows the men use this opportunity to get custom jewelry and jacket linings and whatnot; this is MILD.
2. Cameron Brink from Stanford, to the LA Sparks
Well SOMETHING is on the brink here. ZING. Cameron is 6'4" and plays center, and I'm STOKED that she's gonna be right here to watch.
3. Kamila Cardoso, South Carolina, to the Chicago Sky
Kamila is 6'7"! She looks GREAT here. Hopefully the Windy City weather will not be a huge culture shock, as she's from Brazil and was just playing in the SEC.
4. Rickea Jackson, Tennessee, to the LA Sparks
Woohoo, two top picks for the home team! This is sort of... expansively goofy, but whatever, I enjoy it on her. I actually like it better than the blandly mid Prada.
5. Jacy Sheldon, Ohio State, to the Dallas Wings
She looks a bit like she took her shoes to the tanning salon and said, "Spray me this color."
6. Aaliyah Edwards, UCONN, to the Washington Mystics
This is all fine, and the perfect backdrop for the star of the show: her PURSE.
Perfect.
7. Angel Reese, LSU, to the Chicago Sky
This was the first pick not rated an A by CBS Sports, not because of Reese herself so much, but because they can't figure out how she fits with their other top pick, Cardoso. It will be a fun puzzle to put together. Angel looks GREAT here. It's so sleek.

8. Alissa Pili, Utah, to the Minnesota Lynx
I guess they traded back to let Chicago jump up and take Reese, and this was the big inflection point where from here on out NOBODY had a sense of exactly what would happen. The knock on her is that she's undersized, but surely that is outweighed by her ability to get a gold and black skirt made that KINDA MATCHES HER LEG TATTOO. Hardcore.
11. Marquesha Davis, Ole Miss, to the New York Liberty
Now we skip a few for whom I didn't have pics. I love her sparkles, and for a second sincerely thought her necklace was connecting her earrings. It's just an optical illusion, but it's an amusing one.
12. Nyadiew Puoch, Australia, to the Atlanta Dream
Apparently she's only 19 but has been playing pro ball in Australia for years. Three cheers for ombre.
14. Nika Muhl, UCONN, to the Seattle Storm
Somebody was REALLY hoping one of these women -- or all of them -- would agree to be a sunglasses influencer.
15. Celeste Taylor, Ohio State, to the Indiana Fever
And just like that, Caitlin Clark has another rookie teammate. OSU was a good team this season, and a tough out. I like Celeste's outfit; it has an Early Luke Skywalker quality.
16. Dyaisha Fair, Syracuse, to the Las Vegas Aces
FINALLY, a suit! I love it, especially with the touches of red. I didn't have a pic of her, but Clark's Iowa teammate Kate Martin got drafted 18th to the Aces, also, and the Aces are, indeed, Aces. So that's fun.
24. Elizabeth Kitley, to the Las Vegas Aces
My copy for this slide got eaten and I don’t remember what I said, but hooray for her getting drafted with an injury, I’m sure there was probably some stress in the back of her mind!
25. Charisma Osborne, UCLA, to the Phoenix Mercury
My copy for this slide also got eaten! Hurrah for me! She looks great!
Taylor Rooks and Kevin Miles
Taylor is a broadcaster, and yes, Kevin is Jake from State Farm. I hope he is making BANK, and that someone makes a Super Bowl ad with all the career spokespeople in it -- Flo, the Can You Hear Me Now dude who switched from Verizon to T-Mobile at one point, Jake from State Farm, the Limu Emu (but not Doug), etc.
