Her Stella from the Golden Globes was black and beige, one-shoulder, floaty -- but very much the same idea on the bottom as this one. Honestly, it almost feels like her stylist reached out and said, "Julia wants this basic concept for the Globes," and they got two options they liked enough that she couldn't choose and decided to do both. However, I really hope this is leading up to a SAGs appearance where she has a GIGANTIC Gaga-size train and then just hotpants in the front. For the record, I like the top/coat here much better than the Stella, but insanely, she might win for the pants tailoring, and the shoes are a wash.

Those pants are also sort of... fine. Pleated-front high-waisted pants always end up putting the person's proportions out of whack, to me? I love the top, though. Claire should wear suits more often, as her Globes post-party outfit far eclipsed the gown.

Oh, Alexis Rose (from Schitt's Creek). Your accessories work for me, but I kind of wish this had been separates. Wait, and should Claire's have been a jumpsuit? What is this world coming to when we say that. It just goes to show that eventually we come around to a LOT of things.

I like this so much in theory, and indeed I HAVE a theory: She didn't expect to be cold, but she was, so the jacket was tossed in relatively last-minute. The crop on it does seem purposeful, but the mix of materials is weird to me.

Ah youth. I do kind of wish her parents had told the makeup artist to turn it down a notch.

Best-dressed, possibly. I LOVE THIS. When does SHE get a Lifetime Achievement Award from someone?

She looks nifty, and has worn enough bracelets to make my tarred heart spry again. insert the usual caveat about her feet.

This is a much better suit than the green satiny one she just deployed, and despite my general feeling that this is supposed to be worn at a vow renewal, I also think she looks smashing.

JUDITH WILL HAVE NONE OF YOUR VOW RENEWALS.

Is Julia Roberts Teetering Toward A Rut Already?
