*White House Plumbers* is about G. Gordon Liddy and E. Howard Hunt, who were given that nickname because of their job "p[lugging press leaks by any means necessar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White%5FHouse%5FPlumbers%5F%28miniseries%29?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)y," until they "accidentally overturn the Presidency they were trying to protect." The cast is pretty impressive -- like, when Kathleen Turner and Judy Greer are listed near the bottom of the Wikipedia entry, you know you got a good list of recognizable folks. As you might imagine, [F. Murray Abraham did not attend the premiere](https://ew.com/tv/f-murray-abraham-reportedly-fired-from-mythic-quest-sexual-misconduct-allegations/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Although the show had its own controversy, per Wikipedia, when "production was suspended after an audio recording reportedly captured \[producer David\] Mandel berating and threatening the head of props, and the props department walked off the set." That dude, not featured, DID show up.
