These are VERY congenial and sportsmanlike Grief Abs indeed. And what a handsome gent. Morocco is mathematically eliminated, but still has to play Spain next week, in the hopes of playing spoiler for them I guess (assuming Iran can then beat Portugal, which is possible, if they replace Cristiano Ronaldo with a potato).

Ugh, this poor group of dudes. They were SO THRILLED to equalize against Spain, but the goal was waved off as offside after a review. They played their guts out and were not expected, I don't think, to keep Spain so close. Sports joy and sports heartbreak are SO AFFECTING, in equal measure.

This is the exact expression I made when I examined that last slide. I think, in fairness, that Pizzi is yelling something, but I prefer imagining that he's clasping his face in cartoonish horror and I might want to use that reaction shot forever in my own life.

I really love when the players from opposing teams appear to be genuine in their feelings. It's just NICE that this kid knew he could throw himself in Suarez's arms to cry it out.
