Look at that gorgeous face, and then look at the horrific formal smock hanging underneath it. [KST is no stranger to a robe](https://gofugyourself.com/kristin-scott-thomas-is-wearing-an-amazing-formal-robes-03-2018?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but she never looks sloppy, so this is a mystery to me.

I hope all that fabric is light as a feather, because she's basically carrying it around by its neck. There is some gorgeous workmanship on the dress and boots, though. This whole thing is the kind of Extra that mostly works at events that encourage it, like this one; the reason I put it here is that it just DOES seem like it's throttling her.

This is basically McQueen doing its best Julien Macdonald imitation. It looks like a very expensive apocalypse.

Julien Macdonald, I've griped often, does such beautiful work and it's ALWAYS undercut for me my how much of it is naked as hell. Imagine this lined.

This bothered me because it looks sort of messy AND casual, and it shouldn't. Her legs and shoes are great, but the rest of it looks like she was on a job interview for an internship in 2002.

Is this overtly bad? No, but doesn't it bum you out a little? Cindy is one of the original supers, and this has no personality at all AND feels like refried Angelina Jolie. Also, here's the thing: If you're going to stick out your neck for Georgina Chapman, at LEAST do it for one of their really accomplished pieces.

I wavered on whether this worked for me, because her lipstick is super, and it has a vintage feel. But the turtleneck and the ruffle felt like someone sewed a dickey to a nightgown.
