On Valentine's Day we got a peek at the romance series *Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story --* the Shonda-created prequel that follows the romance of Charlotte and George, and includes young versions of Lady Danbury and Violet Bridgerton, née Ledger. It premieres May 4, so this is really just a taste for a few of the new cast members of what might come -- which I'm sure the O.G. *Bridgerton* actors have discussed with them. Here is the trailer:

I DO love Charlotte and Lady Danbury, so I'm not mad at having this to tide me over until we dig into *Bridgerton*'s third season, which I am awaiting with equal parts curiosity and... maybe a little dread? (I just am not sure about that Colin Bridgerton casting, even now.)
