We saw [Dakota Johnson](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/dakota-johnson-is-back-mostly-in-dior-09-2018/) earlier; Chloe is ALSO in *Suspiria*, Luca Guadagnino's first film since the adored *Call Me By Your Name,* and it is... not getting positive reviews. Hard to tell whether it's genuinely not great, or it's just the pendulum swinging back after all that award-season adoration -- the man made an actor of Armie Hammer, for God's sake! -- and it'll benefit later from a reverse *La-La Land* effect, where in a month you get a lot of think pieces from critics that are all, "Why *Suspiria* Is Actually Fantastic." I shall have to take everyone's word for all of it, because I read the reviews, and I am never, ever going to see it. This surreal horror genre is not REMOTELY my bag. I would, indeed, rather shove it into a bag I want to give away, alongside *Neon Demon* and a couple bricks, and drop it into the sea.
