(Photo by Adela Loconte/Variety via Getty Images) My mom and I agreed that, while at some points this tricked the eye into thinking it was slipping off, it's actually pretty darn good. Because it clearly DID fit really well without being pinchy, and it has a dash of caftan drama. ## Tituss Burgess ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280395364-1780888797.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Tituss Burgess attends The 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Jenny Anderson/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) He wore this during the pre-show, I believe; for the main telecast he kept his sheer shirt on. Tituss is FEELING HIMSELF and I am pleased for him, and vastly prefer the orange velvet. ## Queen Latifah ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280388424-1780888393.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Queen Latifah attends the 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/WireImage) She LOVES CAPES now. Does she ever not nail it? ## Bronwyn Newport in Christian Siriano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279778124-1780888324.jpg) Bronwyn Newport at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/WWD via Getty Images) I guess she's a housewife of Salt Lake City? I don't have room in my life for her at this time, but she was part of a pretty busy night for Christian, and I DO really like the skirt. And aspects of the bodice, if not the whole bodice (mostly because it feels like it ISN'T a whole bodice). ## Ariana DeBose in Fforme ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279807407-1780888337.jpg) Ariana DeBose at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/WWD via Getty Images) Loved the color; did not love the seams. ## Melissa Barrera in Betsey Johnson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279807554-1780888348.jpg) Melissa Barrera at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Adela Loconte/Variety via Getty Images) BETSEY! Is she back?!? This is downright restrained for a Betsey Johnson affair. ## Kara Young ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279822474-1780888362.jpg) Kara Young at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Adela Loconte/Variety via Getty Images) Too many doorbell pulls. ## Ella Stiller ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280366936-1780888378.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Ella Stiller attends the 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/WireImage) She looks perfectly nice, but I hated what they did with her on *And Just Like That* SO MUCH that it's going to take me a minute to set that aside. (This is not her fault. They just did her so dirty.) ## Sara Chase ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280391665-1780888408.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Sara Chase attends the 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/WireImage) I did NOT realize Cyndee from "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" was in Schmigadoon -- that seemed to be great casting, based on the clip we saw. This didn't need the two levels on the skirt but it's still delightful. ## David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279804196-1780888678.jpg) David Burtka and Neil Patrick Harris at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/WWD via Getty Images) Everyone looks fine! ## Aya Cash ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280381235-1780888779.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Aya Cash attends The 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) She looks like she's playing Lisa Ann Walter in a movie about her life. ## Alex Newell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279803866-1780888657.jpg) Alex Newell at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Adela Loconte/Variety via Getty Images) So, I love the glam, BUT these dresses with the giant chest shields always do look a bit like gorgeous sneeze guards. ## Rachel Zegler ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2279834332-1780888744.jpg) Rachel Zegler at The 79th Annual Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York, New York. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/WWD via Getty Images) This is refreshingly simple and sleek on her. ## Hannah Cruz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280397271-1780891748.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Hannah Cruz attends the 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/WireImage) She was nominated as Svetlana in Chess, and this dress was a messy move. ## Nichelle lewis ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280397931-1780891760.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Nichelle Lewis attends the 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/WireImage) This MIGHT have been better without the foliage at her waist. ## Ellenore Scott ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280370946-1780888759.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: Ellenore Scott attends The 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) She is a nominated choreographer for Ragtime, and I wish the costumer from Ragtime had pulled her aside and done something to make the front look less like one of the tailor mice fell asleep. ## Zhailon Levingston and Bill Rauch ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/06/GettyImages-2280404261-1780888816.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 07: (L-R) Bill Rauch and Zhailon Levingston pose with the Best Direction of a Musical award for Cats: The Jellicle Ball backstage during The 79th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 07, 2026 in New York City. (Photo by Jemal Countess/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) They co-directed Cats: The Jellicle Ball, and their two-hander of a speech was a real high point. As is Bill's jacket, whose collar has almost sailor-like lapels. [Lesley, Latifah, and the Rest of the TonysI didn't have a third L.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2026/06/gettyimages-2279818790-1780888728.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/leslie-latifah-and-the-rest-of-the-tonys-06-2026/)
