For something so eccentric, it's just sort of a wash from the front -- like her gown wasn't finished, so everyone decided to just PRETEND this was what was supposed to happen.

Like, this angle just looks like a strapless dress that ripped up the side, and the solution was to wear pants underneath it. Which, if that were the case, I would applauding the moxie and DIY can-do-it-iveness, anyway. Even her face is like, "please don't catch on to what's actually happening here, you guys."

I do like the Grecian lines of the back, and, in fact, when I first saw this dress, this was the first photo I saw and I thought that her pants leg was a black tuxedo stripe. A more innocent time.
