Every time I've seen Selena Gomez on a red carpet this year, I've thought some version of, "She looks pretty good -- is this a particularly strong year for her?" Whether it's the clothes or just her happy glow right now, who can say; career-wise, she's on a hot streak with *Only Murders in the Building* and now *Emilia Perez*, and she seems to feel very cherished in her personal life. Regardless, some of this is very good, and seeing it in succession is revealing. For example, I learned is that Selena LOVES black, a little white collar, and/or any kind of neck adornment or criss-cross... and that, after an uneven beginning, things really picked up for her once *Emilia Perez* went to Cannes.
