From far away, this also looked like tiny rotini and a dress covered in pasta IS really Schiaparelli-y. Her face, of course, is perfect and the tide feels to be turning toward her possibly winning the Oscar, which would be AMAZING. The SAGs are often predictive of the Oscar acting awards because the voting block is basically the same. Which means....

...I am worried about Angela Bassett maybe NOT winning Best Supporting Actress now that she's lost the BAFTA (not a huge deal) and the SAG (more concerning). That category IS traditionally full of surprises but, as much as I generally like the rest of the women in it....Angela Bassett deserves an Oscar, y'all. Clothing wise, this color is stunning on her but she had REAL issues walking in it and I don't know if I think she could have made it up the stairs had she won last night.

This whole vibe is very cute and fun, and she's quite well-styled here -- her head looks perfect. I was VERY surprised that she lost for The Dropout to Jessica Chastain (as much as I love Chastain). Wouldn't this dress also be cute in white as a wedding gown, depending on your wedding vibe?
