She looks bright and beautiful, interesting accessories, and lovely lipstick. Tihs actually feels a bit Liza to me, if not as actively wacky. I was just thinking to myself that the only great shame of her being on Younger is that I don't know if she can do theatre -- and then read that she's going to be Marian in The Music Man in 2020. So either they made time, or this might be Younger's last season. Full disclosure: I have no idea what I'm talking about vis a vis what the time commitment is for prepping a Broadway show, or even how long she'd do it, so. I'll wager someone in Fug Nation knows.

This is... quite a fabric. I think it might've needed a less-is-more approach, as opposed to more-is-not-even-enough. If that were remade into a blouse with cigarette pants, or a skirt without the little tennis ruffle and paired with a plainer top, I think it would have looked less like she was a Jessica McClintock for Party City custom balloon. Those sleeves also are quite funny. It's like she can only have one hand at a time. Now she's got righty...

... and now it's all left. Hilary is mad charming on Younger, though her character is one who they tell us more than show us about her brilliance, and I wish they'd lean more in the "show it" direction.

These shoes read as too daytime for that gown, although she did tie them in with the clutch. That green and the sequins are fab on her, though. And I want Younger to give her more and more to do, please.

Red shoes would have been so cute with this.

She wears a lot of extremely INVOLVED outfits and accessories on Younger, so I can understand her wanting to keep it simple with some satin PJs. She's giving them everything, but I don't think they're worthy of her, and the shoes are a clunky, clanky finish.

I love this jacket, but think perhaps the tee needed to be tucked. Also, it's important that you know he is HELLACIOUSLY charismatic. If you didn't know this from The Originals, he drips charm on this show AND he just joined For The People, which is the third Shonda show on Thursdays now, aka my favorite stretch of things to do on Friday. Fall into him, y'all.

Hello. Would you like an internship? We don't pay and there are zero benefits and right now I don't have a kitchen floor, but I own Xanadu on DVD so that seems like a good perk right?

This feels like a Seussian ode to trucker flaps.
