This chat is a reader request, and I think it's a great one, as the holidays are dramatically rushing toward us: What are your best and favorite and most unusual stocking stuffers? (This is also a good point for me to note that we got a PR email a few weeks ago that mentioned "stalking stuffers" several times; when I opened it, I thought, "oh! This is probably a clever sale on true crime books!" but no. It was just...that the person who wrote said email thought they were called stalkings, rather than stockings. That poor woman probably got a very irritated phone call from her boss at some point that week. However: Crime bookstores, steal this pun.)

This is the part of these posts where I share my own best whatever, but: I have done no shopping at all this year and I am fresh out of suggestions, so I need your help as much as anyone!
