I'm so excited to hear everyone's take here! I have never seen any of these plays so I rely on the intel of the Broadway-going -- and those of you who keep up with theatre gossip, also VERY IMPORTANT TO ME -- to weigh in on what's good, what's weird, and what's surprising about this year's Tony Awards nominations. The Tonys themselves are in June -- they fall on Father's Day, which is weird but also no one asked me -- which means the voters have time to go see [the shows that all opened in a mad rush last week to meet the deadline.](https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/20/theater/broadway-theater-spring-openings.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Ariana DeBose will once again do the thing as host.
