As I typed that headline, I was thinking of hotels that *exist*, like: Is there a hotel you're really really dying to stay at, say if you win the Lotto or hit it big when you invent the next Post-It or have a very very special occasion or just get it together enough to do it? And I'm very interested in that. But! I'm actually *also* interested in hearing if there is a hotel that you WISH existed, and what it's like and where it is! So lay it on me: What real and/or fantasy hotel is at the top of your list?

PS: If there's anything I've learned over the past six months, in which I watched *For All Mankind*, it's that I DO NOT want to visit a hotel on the moon.

[PPS: The hotel in this header image still exists, and it might be *my* fantasy hotel now.](https://www.belmond.com/hotels/europe/italy/portofino/belmond-hotel-splendido/about?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)
