If you ran up to me in the streets and grabbed me and shouted, "ETHAN HAWKE LOOKS GREAT IN A SALMON-COLORED SATIN SUIT THAT IMPROBABLY COORDINATES PERFECTLY WITH THE STEP AND REPEAT AT A WILLIE NELSON THING," I would have been stunned. Mostly by the yelling, but also by the facts; This is eccentric for him, and it is also surprisingly good. Are we moving into a time where Ethan Hawke manifests a kookier side? Because I'm all for that.
