I believe this is a trench coat. A navy and black trench coat is high on the list of Things I Want But Don't Technically Need.

For lounging in the back room of your office, wondering where you left your shirt.

Just FYI, this lookbook involved a LOT of Slouching on Chairs in the Back Room of the Office.

This might be pretty? STAND UP.

Zac Posen: For women who really wish they could climb under their desk for a tiny nap but don't want to get their white dress dirty.

This is an appealing tiny print. It feels very Liberty-adjacent.

And this neckline will look pretty on a lot of women. I want to see it on Christina Hendricks.

"I think they accidentally gave me decaf."
(In all seriousness, I love this little jacket.)

This might be great.

A few of these feel slightly like we might see them on Elizabeth in the upcoming season of The Americans.

This is very pretty. Photocalls, ahoy!

And now we're into Posen's bread-and-butter: Party dresses. I love this. I'd love to see something like this on Emma Stone -- something almost 50s.

And this is a great pattern. Naomie Harris would look amazing in this.

Duchess Kate hsa been wearing a lot of patterns lately. I feel like she'd look great in this. (So, I am sure, do the people at Zac Posen.)

"This color is great...and so is my armpit."

It's also fun to see a party dress with sleeves. Kirsten Dunst would look good in something like this.

I feel like SOMEONE will wear this. I'd like to see it on Constance Wu.

And this is one of those dresses that could work on a very young actress without making her look juvenile -- I'd like to see Zendaya try this kind of retro, Betty Draper look.

I mean, maybe not?

This seems very pretty, but man -- do not work at this art gallery! Everyone in the backroom is SO UNHAPPY.

This feels very Classic Posen. Instantly recognizable.

This is one of those looks that feel like they're designed not for a celeb, but for the $$$$$$$ New York socialites who actually need gowns and will buy them. (That's not an insult. Those women -- and ones like them in Dallas, SF, etc -- are keeping lines like Zac Posen in business.)

Same.

This is FAB. It might be fun to see Ruth Negga in something like this -- she doesn't tend to go strapless.

See my earlier point about how Posen doesn't forget that he needs to make something for women to actually buy.

One sleeve is back for REAL, everyone. Get ready.

I bet there is a HUGE market for Nice Black Strapless Gowns.

Hilary Rhoda As The Thinker.

This goes out to you, Christine Baranski!

I'm assigning this one to Posen mega-fan Katie Holmes.

This lookbook contains more armpits than I anticipated.

I love this pattern.

Ditto. I'd love to see a big sweeping gown like this on Yara Shahidi at the Emmys.
