BABY CHEEKS. I also love that this photo makes it look like Baby Zoe is side-eyeing a photographer.

This is on the level of my favorite suffer-no-fools baby of the moment, Kaavia James, daughter of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade. I love this.

Here, she's twinning with her father, and also delivering a stone-cold no-bull face straight to camera. "I dare you to talk smack about his hat," she's thinking. "I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU."

Now she's got her own hattitude. Zoe wasn't actually seen out and about that much as a kid, so it's fun to see that she still had a very distinct sense of style -- or at least liked to play around as much as her parents did/do.

I have a lot more thoughts about Lenny's necktie situation than I do about Zoe's very normal wrap dress. (She would have been 18 here.) Specifically, that it looks like he made up a necktie out of a very long pocket square.

Zoe was not in this movie with Ben, so... maybe they were dating? She was 19 and he was 28, if you're interested. I love that she went with a zesty shoe, but this outfit definitely NABs. You know Lisa has a bunch of arm bangles at home she could have lent.

This outfit was a shrieker for me because a) I thought it had one fur sleeve -- it doesn't; tha'ts a scarf -- and b) I thought it had a patch of hair on the front, but I believe that is HER hair, caught in said fur scarf.

Very reasonable!

She's in this movie, in a very small role (it's a Jodie Foster flick -- by which I mean Jodie is actually acting in it). This is a great, confident pick.

She may have cut her hair with the same instrument she used to tear up those tights. (She also may have hiked there through the hills? Those are some dirt-caked shoes right there.)

Chanel is a weird match for her - and that purse sticks out like a sore thumb with this - but it's fine? It's aggressively fine.

This is from the Met that year (she did not go on-theme; it was superheroes) and I appreciate the classic bombshell vibe but I don't think it fits.

The OTHER thing about Zoe is that she has the capability to look 26 one moment and then 14 the next. This photo is months after the previous one, but she looks like a high-schooler. (Maybe that's because the outfit is so terrible.)

That top DEFINITELY feels like either she borrowed it from her mom, or they bought it together. I have no earthly idea what's happening with that skirt. If it looks like that on purpose... then I don't think whoever made it understands skirts.

I feel like she and Vanessa Hudgens would have a lot to discuss.

This dress is hideous, and a great reminder of why I never understood Alexander Wang's meteoric rise.

She SLAYED in this. Simple and elegant. Maybe needs a richer lip? But she aced it.

The dress looks like she was scrambling to get dressed and couldn't quite get the whole thing on properly. Her hair is showing real solidarity with this vibe.

The skirt of this dress is cute enough, but there are a lot of things around it that confuse me.

I am all in on this vibe, too, but the shoes belong to a different outfit.

Well, I love the blazer. When in-person events and movie theaters and such start happening again, maybe we'll all want built-in seat covers on our clothes.

She wore this to the McQueen "Savage Beauty" Met Gala, and "savage" is one way to describe the job someone did on this tailoring.

Oooh, I wonder if she had Bangs Remorse.

Here she is at the X Men: First Class premiere -- this was her biggest role to date, and arguably what launched her. It's an ensemble movie and this feels very much like a This Premiere Is Not Just About Me dress.

That's not a shirt; that's part of a fencing uniform.

At least it took 25 slides to get to the sideboob.

But get ready, because she IS dipping a toe into The Sheers, and it won't be her only one.

I WARNED YOU.

She likes this style a lot and it's probably her best execution of it.

I rather dig this cape dress, and just wish for a dark lip and totally different shoes.

Is that an outfit, or fly paper?

This does not look like her to me, but I triple-checked, and it is. I think the eye makeup is doing something to change how we perceive their shape, and this transforms her face. The OTHER reason I didn't think it could be her is that dress. Zoe Kravitz does not seem like someone who would shop at the Adult First Communion rack.

She's back at the Met Gala here, in a dress I would categorize as Rihanna cosplay.

I really do not like that bodice. Nor the blond phase.

She may have agreed, as she's back to her natural shade here. As for he formal shorts and shirt... I'm sure she's wearing whatever she had to from H&M, but evidently this woman loves a big old hunk of fabric hanging down her back.

To wit! The lopsidedness of this -- not to mention the bike shorts of it all -- perplexes me.

This is pretty good though!

This feels like a real I'm Embracing That I'm Lisa Bonet's Daughter phase.

How much of that fringe do you think got torn off by the end of the night - by accident, or by her own frustrated hand?

What was Fendi even DOING.

She is facially so stunning, and then ... it's like a furry produce bag.

This is like CK wasn't even trying. If you want to make wedding nighties, then just DO IT, already.

Another cape scenario! This one is quite cool though -- it's an actual interesting Dior that isn't relying on sheers.

Ugh, whereas this -- I don't have a credit but I'd guess Valentino? -- makes her look like a Reign extra.

The descent into sheers is always the saddest part of any slideshow.

This seems to have ignored the "China" part of the theme and just gone straight to "through the looking glass," as we are looking through it.

And then she got TP'd at Cannes.

And now we're just at Defcon Nipple.

Whatever fisherman caught her must have been VERY surprised.

I don't hate this, but neither do I love it. I DO, however, wish we saw her more in cool suits.

This dress is all about the mask and the giant bow in the back. The shoes look like she glued fabric scraps to herself and called it a day.

This truly IS a dark timeline.

This is fine. I will take fine! We had a long stretch where I yearned for fine.

This dress disturbingly evokes a noose for me.

Why are those sleeves happening to her?

I think I was lukewarm on this at the time -- it was for the Rei Kawakubo gala, where I think Zoe could have had a lot more on-theme fun. It's not poorly made, but it does look heavy. It drags. I guess I'm STILL not on board, then.

And that's fine, but not very Oscar.

I loved this. Many didn't, but damn, this is one of the things she's worn that I'm always happiest to see again. I LOVE the skirt.

Especially that it continues the Roy G Biv of it all as we wrap around the back.

Sleek and sexy and just absolutely superb.

Horrifying and pinchy and weird. So many people had to have decided this was a good idea, and all of them were so wrong.

Yes, definitely let Vogue be your pap smear.

Whereas THIS, I absolutely freaking adore on her.

This was REALLY cutting off her boob circulation, but it's much better than some of the other B.S. that Saint Laurent peddled in her direction.

I love a LOT of elements of this -- the color, the earrings, the sparkle -- but the waist-scrunchie looks terribly cheap.

Where's... the rest of it?

This was the camp theme, and it IS campy, I guess, to wear a dress that looks like Maleficent's horns are feeling you up.

That's very cute, though. It's like whiplash with the Saint Laurent in here.

I mean, this is atrocious....

But then THIS is unusual and special.

She took a quick break for some Oscar, and I like it on her. I wish she'd gone punkier with her head-styling, though, as a contrast.

This is the last thing we saw her in, I believe, and I LOVE IT. This ends the whole affair on such a high note. Hopefully Saint Laurent has taken some notes and will send her only the non-heinous stuff from now on. Sigh. As if it's that easy.
