Here, I get where she's going, but the train has derailed. This feels like an outfit someone pulled for a piece called, like, TEN WAYS TO STYLE YOUR BUTTON-DOWN, that then got reworked for the actual article because this photographs a mess.

And THIS looks like something from a 1999 InStyle with a headline like, MODERN WESTERN WEAR in a piece about what to wear to a luxury ranch in Montana. To be clear: This is a compliment.

This is just really good on her. The pin is the Chevalier dans l'ordre des arts et des lettres, a French honor which was awarded to the cast of Emilia Perez (at this event, she's not just wearing it around town).
