Zoey plays Jean Seberg in Richard Linklater's *Nouvelle Vague*, about Jean-Luc Godard making 1960's *Breathless*. I assume that's why she's leaning into a retro-glam feel, and while that might get kitschy if she keeps it up, Chanel did mostly right by her here with one vintage recreation and one custom gown. And yes, I DID say the words, "Chanel did mostly right"! Maybe Matthieu Blazy will work out after all.
