Have any of you watched Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields yet? It's about the sexual objectification Brooke Shields endured at a young age, and how her troubled relationship with her mother played into that. Somehow we missed the promo sweep she did, so we're catching up here. I've always thought Brooke Shields seemed like a cool lady, but like so many of us, once I did the math on how old she was when she did some of these jobs... I am sure in a lot of ways, being on set still sucks for younger kids -- I cannot forget that the Stranger Things girls had their first kisses on camera -- but back then, it was basically Neanderthal Times, and you know there weren't anywhere NEAR the people willing to be advocates that there hopefully are today. I hope this is healing for her.
