Awards-wise, Carey Mulligan ran up against Sally Field in Remarkably Bright Creatures (also herein, as she too wore blue!), a performance I had NO IDEA had any buzz around it whatsoever, but I guess she had to act opposite a fake octopus, and also, she's Sally Field, so. It wasn't gonna happen for Beef. But this color blue is outstanding on her, so at least we're not yapping about how we wish she'd wear color. She's really spiced it up on that front over the last year, actually. It's exciting to be right!!!!! (Nobody else listen to us. We need to keep the crackpots crackpotting.) Now can we get a necklace or some bracelets to her next?
