Florence Pugh Dipped Into Rodarte's Archive

Miss Flo went back to 2017 for this Rodarte, with one key change: She, or they, or her styling team, split the top up the middle where it was not previously cut. I think it was cuter before; this makes the top look like a repurposed bolero, or as if it burst somehow. Other than that, it might work for me? I have not always been a fan of Rodarte's frills and furbelows -- in that sense, they're a bit like the American Erdem, for me; just too much -- but this really suits her. We know Florence likes sheer stuff, and she likes skin, and bless her, she does also wear color. This manages to play into all of that, while also being interesting, and her makeup is perfect. I enjoy when I don't think I'll like something based on the ingredients, but the whole dish somehow comes together. I've had it go the other way in my kitchen, and it's not pleasant.
