Michael B. Jordan

He looks handsome as always -- although has no one considered that his facial hair conceals his dimple?!?!? -- and also I have to say that I really like that font.

Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry (in Christian Siriano)

They look perfectly nice and also it is wild to me that this couple is actually happening. We live in a bizarro timeline.

Briar Rose Christensen and Hayden Christensen

Little Briar Rose Christensen looks so much like her mother! (Rachel Bilson) She's 11 years old and looks super cute and I hope had a great time at this party.

Tracee Ellis Ross in Bottega Veneta

I saw several "Yeti" jokes about this online and now I cannot stop thinking about Yetis. Having said that: She is working this. If anyone can wear a dress that used to be a furry fur in front of the fire in a 1980s nighttime soap, it IS Tracee Ellis Ross.

Eva Longoria

Those are some MAJOR diamonds. She looks perfectly reasonable in this. Someone dig out the klaxon.

Janelle Monáe in Antonio Grimaldi

Someone WENT OFF in the notions department at Mood, my goodness.

Jon Batiste

A more restrained use of doo-dads. (A More Restrained Use of Doo-Dads is title of my hugely unsuccessful memoir.)

Pete Wentz

Pete's like, "I TOLD YOU I clean up good!!"

Keegan-Michael Key and Elle Key

In which the Keys look like a rich and congenial couple heading to a formal brunch after which they will go buy some interesting art for the powder room.

Greta Gerwig (in Ashlyn) and Laura Dern (in Bella Freud)

Honestly, they both look good here -- Laura's suit is really cool. Greta might need a little brighter lip? Just a TINY bit.

Emily Deschanel in Khaite

See? This is almost the exact same vibe. Her pink lip is so good.

Cynthia Erivo

Very understated for her -- and great.

Judy Greer

This feels exactly right for her. (A compliment. I love Judy Greer and I'm thrilled she's making that All State money now.)

Anthony Davis and Yvette Nicole Brown

He did this in all those photos and it is very cute. Look, he's right, her face is very cute!

Riko Shibata and Nicolas Cage

This is EXACTLY how I want Nic Cage to show up anywhere.

Kris Jenner in Chanel 2023

Honestly, this is totally fine and deeply reasonable.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Ron Howard

This is unusually spangly for BDH! I love that she went with the metallic shoe.

Lewis Hamilton in Saint Laurent

He looks good in this and also it feels very contractually obligated. (I assume he and Kim Kardashian, coming up in the next post, attended together but they did not walk the red carpet together.)

Vin Diesel

This seems right.

Michael B. Jordan within! (And a bunch of other people.)
