I am mad-crazy sick right now, so it's possible I will blow through this mother faster than usual. Just warning you. I can't breathe through my nose and it's doing that really alluring thing where the skin is starting to peel. Aren'

Of all the crossovers I've imagined between this show and Scandal, my most urgent and new favorite is Elsbeth Tascioni being Fitz's Attorney General. Just IMAGINE the beautiful aneurysms she would give Cyrus. It's my new bliss, truly. 19. Cary This poor guy. He

Every episode of this show begins with footage of the bonfire on The Night Of The MUUURDER With Which People Hope To Get Away. It's all very similar b-roll and atmospherics of crowds partying and fire burning things, cut together in that quick Shondaland style. I wonder

In exciting Reign news, this episode involved ZERO GRAIN SHENANIGANS and Mary was kind of awesome in it, for once. She also wore a very good dress. Stay tuned for demonic possession (???), a rather bad performance from a guest star, and railings about how Mary's ladies-in-waiting

I regret to inform you that the bright ray of hope that was Glenn's bald head... has been crushed by the weight of that infernal carpet once more. I know. We'll get through it together, Fug Nation. I promise you this. Juliette is out on tour

This show made a couple curious choices that make me wonder whether this episode and the one prior -- or even the two prior -- had the deck shuffled on them a bit. One: Later on, Liv wears the EXACT same outfit she had on midway through the previous one. Two: This

I never thought I would say this in a Good Wife recap, but: Stay tuned for the penguin in a top hat. (Scandal, though... I mean, aren't we ALL just waiting for one to turn up there?) 14. Cary and Taye Diggs Presumably they're resting Matt

Jessica and I recently concluded that Viola Davis's performance is accomplished, yes, but also extremely curious -- because she's so AGGRAVATED-seeming all the time, as if she read the script and went, "Ugh, Annalise clearly hates all these morons." Between that and the way

a) I HATE Mary. b) Grain is BORING. c) You should just assume that any time Mary or any of the Ladies appears on camera, I squawk, "WHAT IS SHE WEARING?" in an unattractive and graceless manner. Herein, Catherine is waxing poetic about all the shenanigans she'

Back in the Felicity days, did anyone ever imagine Scott Foley would have ANY career success threatening to snap people's necks, and wantonly murdering, and walking casually away from a car he just blew up? Did anyone even imagine that until about halfway through his Scandal tenure? And

Yeah, fine, some plot happened, but there is BIG WIG NEWS this week: Glenn wears a toupee! Now, I'm pretty sure we all wondered, but I felt bad delving TOO deeply into the baffling mysteries of his scalp, because maybe it was his real hair and there was

This show! This show. Oh, this show. It manages to be confusing and convoluted and overly simplistic at the same time, and it's as cheesy as a fondue challenge on The Amazing Race but it certainly is entertaining. This week, Mary's abject stupidity comes back to

How much do you want to bet that The Good Wife hopes Julianna Margulies will call her old pal Intern George and solicit a cameo from Amal Alamuddin? She and Alicia could powersuit the HELL out of it together. 13. Diane & Cary This shot is apt for how these

I wonder if the network gave notes after last week that there wasn’t enough actual real authentic legal procedures, because after The Great Missing Objections Scandal of 2014, the word “OBJECTION” was blurted out all over the place this week. If true, this makes you wonder why they didn’

As much as my relationship with this show is frequently one of frustration, there's something soothing about the return to Scandal of the Week storylines, because it pushes (Un)B-Lievable stuff down and away from the fore. Of course, having said that, Portia de Rossi is stepping
